Brown’s Insurance Agency serves the insurance needs of individuals, families, and businesses throughout Virginia. We focus on helping clients make the best decisions by educating them about insurance.
Our primary methods of communication used to be phone and email, but clients started asking if they could text us. To do that, we would have to screenshot each conversation, email them to ourselves, save them, and then attach them to the client’s file—which was ridiculously cumbersome. We needed a compliant solution that took all that documentation work out, and our website managers recommended Text Request.
Text Request was so much less expensive than the other options we researched, and it came with no contracts. We loved that there were no setup fees, and it was something we could try without being locked into a year-long commitment. I scheduled a demo the same day I looked it up, and our team was immediately sold! It was easy to sign up, and the setup was fast.
We got the option to text from our existing business number, so our clients wouldn’t need to learn a new phone number. Text Request also saves and timestamps every conversation, so we can easily download conversations and get a PDF to attach to client files. We primarily use Text Request to send clients reminders, like to finish their applications or to sign a form. Clients will also text us pictures of documents they’ve signed, or photos of property and vehicles they need in their file.
Leads and existing clients immediately started texting us, even though we hadn’t told them they could yet. It makes me wonder how many other companies are getting texts they don’t know about. People assume they can text any business now, and Text Request helps us take advantage of that. It’s amazing to send a message at 7 a.m., and get an immediate response—when we normally wouldn’t hear back for days over email. Texting is just how our clients prefer to communicate today.
