It became my mission to help others manage their inflammation and pain, after I lost my mom to liver disease in 2015. I watched the doctors pump her full of addictive pain medication, and remember how they wouldn’t allow her to use cannabinoids or else she’d lose her insurance.

That was the turning point where I realized there has to be alternatives to the harmful opioides our health system currently uses. Losing my mom was a life changing experience for me, and it became my life’s purpose to help others not suffer the same pain as her with unrefined, full spectrum hemp extract oils that contain other minor cannabinoids.

Healthy Roots was founded in 2017, with the goal to create a pain free world where everyone has the opportunity to live their best lives. That’s why we specifically target people who can't go through life’s obstacles without feeling pain. Our vision is to help these people find a more natural way to bring about a better quality of life.

We’re a small family-owned business, but we’ve already made a big impact on our community. My family grows all of our organic hemp right down the road from us, and we regularly get involved with nearby farmer’s markets and educating locals as part of our sales process.

We believe in doing things for the right reasons, so research development in formulation is our top priority. A lot of hemp companies are just starting out, and so we have the opportunity to be one with the best ones with a competitive compliance team that focuses on SOPs, batch records, recalls, FDA registration. We at Healthy Roots are trying to be the ones who stand out in the industry by placing an emphasis on that and research development.

As the owner of Healthy Roots, my day consists of responding to customers and ensuring they have all the information that they need to make an educated buy. My fulfillment as a business owner comes from getting out there and engaging directly with customers. Hearing stories about how our products changed people's lives motivates me to keep going.

It became my goal to help people with chronic pain, after I lost my mom to liver disease in 2015. I got a job offer as the only female grower at an i-502 grow operation in Washington, where I honed my skills as an elite strain cultivator. Soon after I was introduced to hemp, and after testing and seeing that it was exactly like growing cannabis, I had goosebumps from head to toe and knew I had found my calling. After a lot of hard work and dedication, Healthy Roots Hemp Products was born.
